Immerse yourself in the world of Afro-Latin rhythms and ensemble playing through the Argentinian Rhythm Sign Language, a dynamic system that allows musicians to create spontaneous compositions in real time. This workshop provides a collaborative and engaging space where participants develop rhythmic awareness, explore the essence of ternary grooves, and refine their improvisational skills within a percussion ensemble. Workshop Content: Percussion Ensemble Techniques – Understanding group rhythm interplay. Rhythm Sign Language – Mastering the fundamentals of this innovative conducting method. Ternary Rhythms & Groove – Exploring African and Afro-Latin rhythmic traditions. Instrumental Roles – Understanding the function of different instruments in specific styles. Improvisation & Group Interaction – Developing musical conversation and responsiveness.
